June 1964 Oldham, Emma (28 Dec. 1877 – 1 June 1964) Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 3, from the Georgas Funeral Home for Mrs. Emma C. Oldham, 86, of Owen, who died there June 1, 1964. The Rev. Lloyd Mauer of the Neillsville Methodist church officiated. Burial was made in the Neillsville Cemetery. Emma was born December 28, 1877, in Hamburg, Germany, daughter of the late Martin and Christine (Smith) Boll. At the age of five years she came with her parents to the United States, locating in Chicago, where she received her education. The family later moved to Clark County. She was married to William Oldham in Neillsville. The family was engaged in farming. Mrs. Oldham had been a member for over 55 years of the Royal Neighbors of America. She is survived by five children; William A. Oldham of Strum; Lafayette Oldham, of Helena, Ohio; Charles P. Oldham, Mrs. Raymond (Genevieve) Kalsow, and Ray Oldham, all of the Neillsville area, a brother, Charles Boll of Milwaukee; 27 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren. The musical selections were “Face To Face” and “Under His Wings” sung by Mrs.Heron Van Gorden, accompanied by Mrs. Dorothy Scott. Pallbearers were: James Oldham, Louis Hagedorn, Walter and Gorden Oldham, Wilber Hagen, and Richard Struensee. Out of town people here for the funeral were; Mr. and Mrs. Lafayette Oldham and family of Helena, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Oldham of Withee; Mr. and Mrs. William Steffen and Mrs. Harold Parks of Racine; Mrs. Lyle Wampole of Fairchild; Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Mooney of Kaukauna; James Oldham, USS Army, Ft. Benning, Ga.; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Christman of Owen; Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Ott, Mary Ann Oldham, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Struensee of Kenosha; Mrs. Kenneth Grabe of Neenah; Mrs. Len Boon and Clayton Boon of Greenwood.
