Beaver, Florence (22 NOV 1932)

A very pretty fall wedding took place at St Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal, Tuesday, Nov. 22nd at 9:00 o’clock when Miss Florence Beaver, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Beaver, became the bride of Mr. Leon Hoeser, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. George Hoeser of York, Rev Father A. J. Aurit officiating.

The bride wore a floor length dress of white satin, with Spanish lace jacket. She wore a long tulle veil, cap effect, edged with lace, trimmed with crystals and orange blossoms. She wore white satin slippers, seed pearl necklace, and carried a shower bouquet of pale pink roses, swansonia, pom poms and lilies of the valley.

The bride was attended by the groom’s sister, Miss Katherine Hoeser as maid of honor, who wore an ankle length dress of royal blue crepe; Miss Florence Goetz, cousin of the groom as bridesmaid wore an ankle length dress of pale pink crepe. Both wore rhinestone head bands and carried arm bouquets of pink and white carnations.

The groom wore a suit of navy blue serge and was attended by the bride’s twin brothers, Harold and Howard Beaver who wore suits of brown.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents where approximately 75 guests were present. The evening was spent in playing cards and dancing.

Out of town guests were Mr. Rob. Miller, son john and daughter Agatha of Watertown, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest McIntire of Neillsville, Mr. and Mrs. George Beaver of Granton, Mrs. Lizzie Duvall of Marshfield, and Miss Sophia Hoeser from Superior.

They will be at home to their many friends in the near future on a farm near Neillsville.
