Obit: Kadolph, Rosalina (1853 – 1933)
Surnames: RUSCHKE KADOLPH WICHMANN SCHERGER SEYFET BRAUN The Loyal Tribune 25 May 1933 Kadolph, Rosalina (29 DEC 1853 – 18 MAY 1933) The deceased Rosalina Ruschke was born in Pomerania, Germany on the 29th day of December, 1853. In early infancy she was baptized in the name of the Triune God and then later instructed and confirmed in the Ev. Luth. Church to which Church she remained faithful, having been a member of the local Church for the past 28 years. On the 21st day of December, 1878, she was married to Albert Kadolph, to which union 7 children was born. In Feb. 1915 her husband preceded her to eternity. In 1886, she left her native land and came to the U. S. A. locating in Hartford where she remained until 1905 when the family moved to the Town of Loyal, Clark Co., and then later to the Village of Loyal. The deceased enjoyed good health in her life and was ill for about a week when her end came. Her death came very suddenly and unexpectedly. On Thursday at 8:10 A. M. (May 18, 1933) she was peaceably called out of this world to a better world and we sincerely hope that she has entered that rest which in store for the people of God.. She attained the age of 79 years, 4 months and 19 days. The deceased now leaves to mourn her seven sorrowing children, viz: Mrs. Martha Wichmann, of Loyal; Paul Kadolph of Mayville; Mrs. Marie Scherger of Hartford; Mrs. Elsie Seyfet, of Fowler, Kansas; Benjamin Kadolph of the Town of Loyal; Arthur Kadolph of Hartford and Ewald Kadolph of Milwaukee. Also 10 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Emillia Braun, of Hartford, besides numerous other relatives and a host of friends who have our hearts sympathy in their bereavement. Funeral services were held from the Lutheran Church, Loyal, Sunday afternoon, Rev. H. F. Leschensky officiating. Interment was made in the Lutheran Cemetery. Those who acted as pall bearers were: Wm. Loppnow, John Loppnow, Carl Blado, Herman Kehrberg, Oscar Ratzburg and Julius Hinkelman. Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Herman Kehrberg, Mrs. Wm. Loppnow, Mrs. Jacob Henseler, Mrs. Aug. Witt, Mrs. C. H. Kehrberg and Miss Hattie Kehrberg. |
