News: Thorp Courier (8 Jun 1888)
Source: Thorp Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) H. F. Sargent is attending Grand Lodge, I.O.O.F., at Wausau, this week, as delegate from Forest Queen Lodge. L. Hayes and family of the town of Withee, are spending a couple of weeks with relatives at Byron, Fond du Lac county. The Greenwood string band has been engaged to furnish music for the Odd Fellows dance to be held at Sargent's hall on the 4th. "Many men imagine that the world couldn't get along without them, but when they die the town in which they lived experiences a boom"
