Surname: Obernberger, Roohr, Crosby, Ludwig, Brunner, Phillips Source: Scrap book two: by Erna Schenk Price Contributed by Halbert “Bud” Hardrath Obernberger, Lorna Lou (Marriage - ) Kenneth Roohrs Will Reside in Marshfield Miss Lorna Lou Obernberger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Obernberger, Owen, and Kenneth Lee Roohr, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Roohr, Owen were united in marriage Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at St. Katherine’s Episcopal Church in Owen. The Rev. K. O. Crosby officiated at the ceremony. Attending the couple were the bride’s cousins Miss Marianne Ludwig of Stetsonville, and Miss Jeanne Brunner, the groom’s brother, Gerald Roohr, and Russell Phillips. BRIDE WEARS SUIT The bride wore a beige suit with brown accessories, accented with a corsage of yellow carnations and white gardenias. Miss Ludwig wore a brown sharkskin suit with cocoa brown accessories, and Miss Brunner’s suit was grey with green accessories. Both wore corsages of white carnations. The groom’s mother was present in a navy blue striped dress with white carnations, and the bride’s mother wore a maroon dress with a corsage of white carnations. A reception was held at the home of the bride with 50 guests present. TO LIVE IN MARSHFIELD Both the bride and groom are graduates of Owen High School. They will reside at 801 S. Cherry street, Marshfield, where the groom is employed at the Hub City Jobbing Co. Out-of-town guests present included Mr. and Mrs. Alwyne Fencher; Neillsville; Mrs. Bray, Neillsville; Mrs. William Roohr, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Franken, Park Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ludwig, Stetsonville, and Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Brunner, Curtiss.
