Lamont, Ella (20 APR 1900)

Married, at the residence of the bride’s parents, at Lamontville, two miles south of the city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), Friday evening, April 20th, 1900, by Rev. E.G. Vischer, Mr. Thomas H. Patterson of Fifield, and Miss Ella Lamont of Colby town.

There, another of our fairest and most estimable young ladies has been carried of by an outsider. Miss Lamont is the second daughter of Angus Lamont, who established Lamontville twenty-five years ago. Miss Ella’s home has been there all her life, she counts every acquaintance a friend and all of them join the Phonograph in wishing her and her husband a happy prosperous wedded life.

Mr. Patterson is a prominent lumberman of Fifield, who is highly spoken of by his acquaintances.

The wedding was a very quiet one, only members of the family being present. After the ceremony those present took supper, after which the happy couple were taken to Abbotsford, where they boarded the limited for Chicago and other points. They will make their home at Fifield.
