Obit: Heida, Frank (1832 - 1911)
Surnames: HEIDA Source: CLARK COUNTY HERALD (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.) 10/06/1911 Heida, Frank (30 NOV 1832 - 26 SEP 1911) (Abbotsford Clarion) Another of the pioneer residents of Clark County, Wis. passed away on Tuesday morning of last week. At 8:30 death claimed Frank Heida, at his home three miles from Abbotsford. He had reached the age of 78 years, 9 months and 26 days, and for the past three years has been in feeble health, the immediate cause of death being old age and fatty degeneration of the heart. Frank Heida was born in Bohemia, coming of that sturdy, industrious race that has done so much to build up this country, and settled on his farm near Abbotsford about 35 years ago. Through his industry he has one of the finest farms in this county. He was a man of sterling integrity, a useful citizen and will be mourned, not only by his family, but by his friends and neighbors. The funeral was held from the Catholic Church at Dorchester Friday morning at 8:30, and the remains were interred at the cemetery at that place. |
