Surnames: PRIBBERNOW BUSS MARQUARDT Source: Colby Phonograph (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 08/30/1900 Pribbernow, John (28 AUG 1811 – 26 AUG 1900) Died, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ferd. Marquardt, in the town of Green Grove, Clark Co., Wis., on Sunday, Aug. 26th, 1900, John Pribbernow, in the 89th year of his age. John Pribbernow was born in Prussia, Oct. 28th, 1811. He came to America with his family in 1874, and lived two years at Toledo, Ohio, and then moved to Green Grove, where he has lived since, and where his wife died about fifteen years ago. He was the father of nine children, five of whom survive him, one son, Albert, and four daughters, one in Germany, one in Montana, Mrs. Carl Buss, and Mrs. Ferd. Marquardt of Green Grove. The funeral was held yesterday forenoon, from St. Paul’s Church, Green Grove, Rev. A. Kuring officiating. |
