Molle, Cairgene (Marriage – 1958)

Relatives and friends gathered at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church at Loyal Saturday morning to witness the 9 o’clock nuptial service during which Miss Cairgene Molle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Molle, Unity, exchanged vows with Leory Kauth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Kauth, Greenwood. The Rev. Norbert King was the officiating clergyman.

A bridal gown designed with long sleeves and boat-shaped neckline and lace-edged ruffled skirt was donned by the bride, who carried pink roses and stephanotis. A tiara headpiece held her veil of illusion.

Miss Rose Marie Degenhardt, Loyal, was maid of honor in a floor-length formal, which had a ruffled skirt and lace jacket topping the bodice. She carried a pink and white colonial arrangement of carnations.

Other bridal aides dressed like the maid of honor and carrying similar floral pieces were Mrs. Glen Rachu, Colby; Miss Lucille Wucherpfennig, Loyal; and Miss Sharon Molle, Unity.

The flower girls, Linda Molle, Unity, and Kathy Kauth, Milwaukee, wore white taffeta and net floor-length frocks tied with huge bows at the back and carried pink and white carnations in colonial design.

Best man was Ronald Braun, Loyal, and the groomsmen were Glenn Rachu, Colby, and James Bauer and Conrad Becker, both of Loyal. Melford Molle and Richard Kauth ushered.

Don Colby’s tavern at Unity was the setting for the wedding dinner, reception, supper and midlunch, approximately 150 guests attending.

The bride was graduated from Colby High School and the groom from Loyal High School. The newlyweds will reside on his parents’ farm, where he is employed. Prior to her wedding Mrs. Kauth was an employee of the Albert H. Weinbrenner Shoe Manufacturing Co. in Marshfield.
