Surnames: HOPP YUNG Source: COLBY PHONOGRAPH (Colby, Wis.) 08/30/1900 Yung, Katie (25 AUG 1900) Married, at St. John’s Church, Aug. 25th, 1900, by Rev. M. Zutz, Mr. Charles Hopp and Miss Katie Yung, both of this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.) Charlie Hopp is one of the honest industrious young men, and Katie one of the quiet, modest young ladies of this city, and they both have a host of friends who will wish them a long and prosperous life. After the ceremony the young couple held an informal reception at the house, and many sat down to a bountiful wedding supper, after which all who desired repaired to Colby Hall, and there tripped the “light fantastic” until the “wee sma’ hours ayant the twa!”
