Bio: Sale, J. H. Sargent & Son's Saloon (1890)
Source: Thorp Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 18 Sep 1890 Surnames: SARGENT KURZ HIPKE J. H. Sargent & Son's saloon was turned over to its purchaser Wm. Kurz on Monday, and Peter Hipke, who is also a partial owner in the business, has taken the position of bar-tender. Kurz & Hipke will give a free opening dance at their hall on Saturday evening, Sept. 20th. Everybody cordially invited. Music by Germania String Band.
