Hubing, 73, Neillsville, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2006, at his home. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 14, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Neillsville. The Very Reverend Woodrow H. Pace officiated. Music was provided by Ronald Resong, organist, and St. Mary’s Church Choir. Interment was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Honorary casket bearers were his grandchildren, Jesiah and Jeremiah Hubing, Jennifer Jayme and Julianne Pekol, Kaia and Brecken Rodriguez. Casket bearers were Tom and Jason Hubing, Daniel and Joshua Pekol, Paul Rodriguez and Delano Hubing. Adrian Edward Hubing was born on Nov. 15, 1932, in Loyal, to Anton and Ethel (nee Mashak) Hubing. When he was a child, his family moved to Neillsville, where he attended school. After his schooling, he worked a milk route with his father and brother. He was united in marriage to Nancy Kuehn on July 9, 1960, in Neillsville. He worked for Nelson Muffler as a welder, and most recently for Smith Feed out of Loyal, as a truck driver. After his retirement, he spent time hunting and traveling and working the hobby farm with his brother, but he most enjoyed putting his boat behind his truck and heading to the Mississippi River to fish. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Neillsville. Survivors include one son, Thomas (Melissa) Hubing, Stratford; two daughters, Lori (Daniel) Pekol, Neillsville, and Shelly (Paul) Hubing-Rodriguez, Aurora, Colo.; nine grandchildren, Jason (Denise) Hubing, Jesiah and Jeremiah Hubing, Jennifer, Joshua, Jayme and Julianne Pekol, Kaia and Brecken Rodriguez; two brothers, Delano (Pat) Hubing, LaCrosse, and John (Pat) Hubing, Neillsville; two sisters, Marilyn (John) Gregorich, Waunakee, and Kathy Sentenny, Waunakee; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Zoie Rodriguez; a sister, Patricia Anger. The Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, assisted the family with arrangements.
