Source: Thorp Courier (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) Eidsvold Epitome (By Ole O. Margarine) Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Foster of Minnesota are visiting friends in this vicinity. The Fourth of July celebration at this place was a grand success. Delegations were present from Stanley, Thorp and the town of Reseburg. Some light fingered party relieved Con. Donahoe of a pair of mower doubletrees, which he had left near the wagon bridge, while he went to the mill after a load of lumber one day last week. Joe Powell and Len Hutchins went to Augusta, last Friday. Quite a number of our young people attended a surprise party at the residence of W. S. Warner last Friday evening. The following of our teachers will attend summer school at Thorp: Misses Josie Ross, Luie Warner, Alice Baker and Willis Peterson.
