Surname: Poler, Williams, White, Zank Source: Neillsville Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 24 Oct. 1935 Poler, Hazel (Marriage – 19 Oct. 1935) Miss Hazel Poler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Poler, and Oliver Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Williams, of the Town of Washburn, were married Oct. 19, at 10:30 a.m., at the Methodist parsonage in Neillsville, Rev. P. B. White officiating. The bride was attended by Miss Mildred Williams and Albert Zank was best man. Miss Poler was attired in a beautiful ankle length gown of white silk crepe with veil and carried a bouquet of roses and baby breath. Miss Williams was attractively dressed in a costume of silk crepe and Bermuda green and wore a corsage bouquet of roses and baby breath. The groom wore a suit of Oxford gray and the best man a suit of dark blue. Following the ceremony, which was attended by relatives, a reception for 15 was held at the home of the bride with dinner being served at 1 p.m. Miss Ethel Poler, sister of the bride, came up from Chicago for the wedding. The couple left on a two weeks’ wedding trip, planning to visit friends and relatives at Oshkosh and other Wisconsin cities and Chicago. They will make their home with the groom’s parents. Both the bride and groom are popular young people and have a wide circle of warm friends. The bride attended high school in West Bend and for the last two years has been employed in Chicago. Mr. Williams has engaged in farming in Washburn and also in an experinceed mechanic.
