Surnames: GRAMDORF HAMANN LAU Source: Colby Phonograph (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 06/16/1910 Gramdorf, Joachim (24 MAY 1836 – 10 JUN 1910) Joachim Gramdorf died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Chas. Lau, in the town of Colby, Clark Co., Wis., on Friday, June 10th, 1910, of heart failure, aged 74 years and 18 days. Deceased was born in Mecklenburg Schwerin, Germany, May 24th, 1836. He was united in marriage to Maria Hamann in 1836, and came to this country in the year 1864, settling at Watertown, Wis. His wife died in 1885, since which time he has lived with his children. He leaves three children and four grandchildren to mourn his death. The funeral was held from Zion Lutheran Church, Sunday afternoon, Rev. Carl Witschonke officiating.
