Surnames: PAGELSDORF BUCHHOLZ MOTCHENBACHER BLECHA SMITH RONDORF The Loyal Tribune 10 October 1935 Pagelsdorf, Edward (1 JAN 1853 – 2 OCT 1935) Mr. Edward Pagelsdorf died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Joe Motchenbacher near Marshfield on Wednesday, October 2, 1935 of Bright’s Disease at the age of 82 years, 10 months and 1 day. Born in Pommern Germany, he came to America in 1882 and settled near Deerfield. In the year of 1882 he was united in marriage to Miss Wilhelmina Buchholz. In the year 1902 he moved to Clark County on a farm. Seven years later he moved to the village of Loyal where he lived until two years ago when he left for Marshfield to live with his daughters, Mrs. Joe Motchenbacher and Mrs. Will Rondorf. He leaves to mourn his loss two sons, Emil of Greenwood and Edward of Loyal and four daughters, Mrs. James Blecha, Pasadena, California; Mrs. Vern Smith of Granton; Mrs. Joe Motchenbacher and Mrs. Will Rondorf, both of Marshfield and one sister in Germany. Also nineteen grandchildren. His wife and one son Theodore preceded him in death. Mr. Pagelsdorf was a kind and devoted father and a good and obliging neighbor. He will be sadly missed by both his family and his many friends and the sympathy of all goes to his children in their bereavement. Funeral services were held from the Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal on Saturday, October 5th at 2:00 P. M. with interment in the Lutheran Cemetery, Rev. H. F. Leschensky officiating. The pall bearers were: Albert Davel, Frank Luchterhand, Fred Degen, Gerhardt Kehrberg, Aug. Witt and Wm. Loppnow. The following were flower girls: Margaret Brayer, Frances Brayer, Lucella Jensen, Marie Buchholz, Margaret Rayhorn and Doris Myer. Those from away who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. F. g. Wagner, Rockford, Ill., Mrs. Ella Pagelsdorf and daughter Beatrice, Beloit, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Otto Zamzon, Wausau, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Walter Zanmzon, Merrill, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Ebert, Merrill, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Otto Butt, Naugart, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Martin Zimmerman, Merrill, Wis.
