Obit: Halverson, Julia (1857 – 1934)
Surnames: HALVERSON WARDEN WORDEN Source: THORP COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 08/16/1934 Halverson, Julia (8 OCT 1857 – 9 AUG 1934) Mrs. Julia Halverson died at her home in the town of Aurora, Taylor Co., Wis., on Thursday, Aug. 9th, 1934. She was born on Oct. 8, 1857 at Coon Valley, Wis., and the cause of death was heart failure. She leaves to mourn three sons: Andrew of Eidsvold, Clark Co.; Gilbert of Gilman; and Edward of Engadine, Mich., and one daughter, Mrs. Martha Warden of Eidsvold. Funeral services were held on Saturday from St. John’s Church, west of Polley, interment following the services in the nearby cemetery. Pallbearers were: Ole Bakka, John Almberg, Louis Aaseth, Milly Mattes, Hansten Hagen and Ed Weisenberg.
