Domer, Emilia (17 DEC 1861 – 01 JAN 1939)

Mrs. Emilia Domer Dies on Sunday (by News-Herald Correspondent)

Unity - Mrs. Emilia Domer, 77 died at 2:30 a.m. New Year's Day at her home in Unity. Death was caused by appendicitis.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at the home and at 1:30 o'clock at St. John's Lutheran Church in Riplinger. The Rev. Franklin Albrecht, pastor will officiate at the rites and burial will be made in Riplinger.

Mrs. Domer, nee Emilia Schulte was born Dec. 17, 1861. She came to Unity with her parents from the Town of Herman, Sheboygan County, at the age of 16. She was a member of the Ladies Aid Society and of St. John's Lutheran Church since its organization. Her husband preceded her in death.

Surviving are eight children, Leo R., and Carl A. Domer, at home; Mrs. George (Anna) Orth, Abbotsford; William Domer, Riplinger; Mrs. Louis (Pauline) Justman, Spencer; Theodore H. Domer, Unity; Mrs. Bernard (Minnie) Newman and Mrs. Emil (Rose) Martens, Unity; 22 grandchildren, on great-grandchild; a brother Robert Schulte, Colby and two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Engel and Mrs. Rose Klingbeil, Chicago, Ill.
