Obit: Nead, Herbert E. (1914 – 21 May 1980)
Surname: Nead, Gill, York Source: Marshfield News Herald (Marshfield, Wood County, Wis.) Friday, 23 May 1980; page 19 Abbotsford – Herbert E. Nead, 66, Schofield, a native of Abbotsford, died at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Wausau Hospital Center. He was born here May 10, 1914 to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Nead. On Oct. 27, 1979 at Wausau, he married Terry Gill. She survives. He was a self-employed truck driver to retiring in 1979. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of Moose Lodge and Veterans of Foreign Wars. A son, Keith, survives besides his wife. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hayden Funeral Home, Schofield. The Rev. Thomas York of First Presbyterian Church, Wausau, is to officiate and burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today.
