Surnames: PETTIT YATES SNYDER Source: THORP COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 11/15/1934 Yates, Della (6 NOV 1934) (Owen Enterprise) A church wedding was solemnized on Monday, Nov. 6, 1934, at 9:00 o’clock a.m., when Miss Della Yates, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Yates of this city, became the bride of Joe Pettit of Thorp, Clark Co., the ceremony being performed by the Rev. Father John Novak of Holy Rosary Church. The young couple were attended by the bride’s sister, Miss Delia Yates, and P. Snyder of Thorp. Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents. Both are well and favorably known in Owen, the groom having been employed here for the past two years. Mr. and Mrs. Pettit will make their home at Thorp, where he has employment.
