Surnames: KASTEL SCHIESEL JACQUE Source: THORP COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 02/21/1935 Kastel, Nora (5 FEB 1935) Miss Nora Kastel, daughter of Mrs. Anton Schiesel of Stanley, Wis., and Mr. Joseph Jacque of Thorp, Clark Co., Wis., were united in marriage at St. Mary’s Church, Holy Cross, on Tuesday, Feb. 5th, 1935. Rev. Father J. Wagner performed the ceremony. Anton Jacque served as best man and Miss Susan Juste, a friend of the bride, as bridesmaid. Her gown was blue crepe and white hat and corresponding accessories with a shoulder bouquet of pink sweet peas and ferns. The bride wore a gown of Concord blue and white hat and accessories to match, a shoulder bouquet of sweet peas, roses and baby fern. A reception followed the ceremony at the home of the groom’s sister, at Port Washington, followed by a wedding trip to Milwaukee and other points in Wisconsin. The newlyweds will reside on a farm south of Thorp after March 1st.
