Fenhouse, Merlin (1 OCT 1920 – 27 FEB 2006)

Merlin “Bud” Fenhouse, 85, Superior, died on Monday, Feb. 27, 2006. Visitation will be on Friday, March 3, at Maurina/Community Funeral Home, Spencer, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. The Rev. Rebekah Tarras will officiate. Burial will be in West Spencer Cemetery, town of Sherman.

Merlin Fenhouse was born on Oct. 1, 1920. to Henry and Frances (nee McVean), in Spencer, where he attended school and graduated. He entered the United States Army in 1941, and was honorably discharged in 1945. He married Mabel E. Miller in 1946. He was employed for 32 years with the Soo Line Railroad until his retirement in 1980. After retirement, he resided in Bruce, and enjoyed fishing and hunting with close friends.

Survivors include his wife, Mabel Fenhouse, Superior; two daughters, Janene (Rick) Connelly, Little Canada, Minn., and Debra (Paul Antelman) Fenhouse, Roseville, Minn.; one son, Michael (Ruth) Fenhouse, Superior; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
