Surnames: DAINES GLENN ERICKSON Source: MARSHFIELD NEWS HERALD (Marshfield, Wood Co., Wis.) 12/16/1942; P 5 Daines, Alice L. (4 JUL 1870 – 15 DEC 1942) COLBY, Clark Co., Wis. – Mrs. Seth E. Daines, 73, died at her home in Colby Monday noon of a heart attack. She ad been ill for the past eight years following a stroke. The body will lie in state at the Lulloff Funeral Home until the funeral services, arrangements for which have not been made. Burial will be made in the Colby Cemetery. Miss Alice L. Glenn was born at Logan, Ohio, July 4, 1870, and was married to Seth Daines on Oct. 16, 1897, at Dell, Wis. Since 1900 they made their home in the city of Colby. Surviving her besides her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Fred Tischendorf and Mrs. James Erickson, Dorchester; one son, Pvt. Clifford Daines, Camp Buetner, N.C.; two brothers, L.D. Glenn and R.W. Glenn, Harlowton, Mont.; and one sister, Miss Clara A Glenn, Viroqua. One daughter, Blanche, preceded her in death.
