Obit: Kleinfeldt, Albert (1863? – 1911)
Surnames: KLEINFELDT PADE GRESEKE Source: Colby Phonograph (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 09/28/1911 Kleinfeldt, Albert (1863? – 21 SEP 1911) A.W. Kleinfeldt, a well known Oregon St. grocer, passed away at 1 o’clock this afternoon at his home 1511 Oregon St. A two weeks’ illness with heart and kidney trouble cause the end, which was little expected by those outside the immediate family. For eight years the deceased has been one of the most enterprising grocery men on Oregon St., building up a good business. Preceding that, for seventeen years he was connected with the Buckstaff-Edwards company as foreman. The decease was born at Lomira, Wis., forty-eight years ago. He is survived by the widow, one son, Walter, daughter, Edna, and one sister, Mrs. Sophia Pade. The above, taken from last Thursday’s edition of an Oshkosh paper, refers to Albert Kleinfeldt, a former Colby, Clark Co., Wis. resident in the early days, and was a shock to his many friends here, all of whom will join the Phonograph in expressions of deepest sympathy to the bereaved family and relatives. Albert Kleinfeldt was married to Miss Minnie Greseke in this city, Jan. 3, 1888, and immediately went to Oshkosh, where he had prepared a home for his bride, but each year spent his vacation here with his relatives and friends. The funeral was held at Oshkosh, Sunday and was largely attended.
