Obit: Graf, Mathias (1846 – 1911)
Surnames: GRAF LEITL BURHOP Source: Colby Phonograph (Colby, Clark County, Wis.) 11/23/1911 Graf, Mathias (28 DEC 1846 – NOV 1911) (Wausau Record-Herald) Mathias Graf died at his home at 121 South Fifth Avenue at 10:30 o’clock Friday evening. The funeral will be held from the First Baptist Church at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon and the service will be conducted by the Rev. F. H. Brigham. Mr. Graf was born in the state of New Jersey on Dec. 28, 1846. At the age of four years he came to Wisconsin with his parents who located in Sheboygan Co., where he married in 1872. Six years later, Mr. Graf and family moved to Colby, Clark Co., Wis., living ther up to five years ago, when they moved to this city. He is survived by his widow and five children, Mrs. Ida Burhop, Mrs. Jennie Leitl and Eugene, George and Benjamin Graf, all of Wausau.
