Miss Eunice Berglund of Ely, Minnesota is a house guest of Miss Marian Schoengarth. Miss Berglund and Miss Schoengarth were room mates when students at the University of Minnesota.

Mrs. Stella Roehl, Eaton Center was a business caller here Wendesday.

Mrs. Michael Murphy, Acaida Valley Canada spent several days here this week visiting old friends. Mrs. Murphy was formerly Miss Margaret Hughes of the Ridge and school here several years ago.

Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Kundston left Thursday morning for West Salem where Mr. Kundtson will take charge of the Public schools after July 1st. He expects to attend the summer session at the LaCrosse Teachers College which opens June 15th.

Mr. and Mrs. Harland Bergemann entertained their many friends at a dancing party Tuesday night at the Village Hall. After July 1st they will be at home to their friends in the house just vacated by Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Knudtson.

A nine pound baby boy, Elwood Foster, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Beuford Loga, Sunday, June 14, at the home of Mrs. Loga’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mabie.

The Misses Mae Ott, Helen Sparks and Pearl Beeckler left on Sunday to attend the summer session of the Central State Teachers College at Stevens Point.

Miss Elsie Pfankee of Madison spent Saturday night with Mrs. Helen Sparks.

Miss Ora Davis is attending the summer session at the State Teachers College in Eau Claire.

Mrs. A. E. Whitney and daughter Olive of Kansas City, Mo., came Sunday for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Low Smith parents of Mrs. Whitney.

Mr. and Mrs. Roderick Rausch of Arpin spent the weekend here with Mr. and Mrs. Dan Rausch.

Miss Mary Carmody of Eau Claire spent the weekend here as the guests of Miss Marie Schroeder.
