In a quiet service in the Methodist Parsonage at Neillsville on Tuesday at 6 p.m., Mrs. Violet Walleck of Granton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Foster of St. Paul, Minnesota became the bride of Mr. Lloyd L. Spry of Granton, Wisconsin. The double ring ceremony was used, the couple repeating the vows after the Rev. Paul B. White.

The couple were attended by their friends, Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Roehl of Almond, Wisconsin.

The bride wore an ashes of roses crepe dress, floor length and her bridesmaid was gowned in dusty pink silk knit.

Following the ceremony, a 7 o’clock dinner was served at the Spry home. The guests included Mr. and Mrs. Harold Chamberlin, Mr. and Mrs. R. Foster of ST. paul, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Spry, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Prange, Mr. and Mrs. Phelps Spry of Chili and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Roehl of Almond.

Mr. Spry is a member of the W. J. Spry and Sons Co. and is the manager of the Granton feed store. He is prominent in public life, holding the positions of village treasurer and director of the school board.

Mrs. Walleck was formerly Violet Foster and lived with her parents for several years in Heathville, moving later to St. Paul, Minnesota. During her residence here the past few years she has made many friends, who join in wishing her and Mr. Spry a long and happy life.

They will leave Friday for a wedding trip to the Twin Cities.
