Arthur Cole died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.R. Cole, in the town of Hull, Marathon Co., Wis., at 6 o’clock Saturday morning, March 21st, 1914, of pneumonia, aged 40 years and 16 days.

Deceased was born in Milford township …(a line was cut off).. to Minneapolis and worked as street car conductor for the Twin City Rapid Transit Co. for about 18 months. On account of failing health he resigned his position there and returned to the home of this parents in March 1909, where he made his home up to the time of his death. Although in feeble health he assisted his father with the farm work up to within a few days of his death. He had a slight attack of la grippe but didn’t consider it as serious until Friday morning. Dr. Christofferson was called but could give but little hope to the family, as pneumonia had set in and Arthur’s weakened condition was against him, and in the early morning of the next day passed from this life, surrounded by his loved ones.

He leaves to mourn his early death, one son, Charlie J., his parents and one sister, Mrs. Fred Hutton.

The funeral was held from the M.E. Church, Monday forenoon, conducted by Rev. R.R. Braddick.
