Obit: Domer, Theodore H. (1902 - 1977)

Domer Medford - Theodore Henry Domer, 74, of 339 E. Allman St., Medford, died at Medford Memorial Hospital at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. He had been hospitalized there for six weeks. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church, with the Rev.. Helmuth Strauss, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the new Medford Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hemer Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Friday and at the church from 12:30 p.m. Saturday until time of services. Mr. Domer was born July 31 1902 in Unity and attended the Unity area schools. On May 12, 1926, at Veefkind, he married the former Mildred Voss, who survives. They observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1976. He owned and operated a retail grocery store in Unity until retiring in 1967. For a number of years he served on the Unity School Board and the Unity Village Council Board. In 1970, the couple came to the City of Medford. He was a member of the First Baptist Church here. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Myron (Elaine) Greaser, Abbotsford, and Mrs. Thomas (La Von) Miller, Glendale, Calif; three brothers, William, Abbotsford; and Leo and Carl, both of Unity; three sisters, Mrs. Pauline Justman and Mrs. Emil (Rose) Martens, both of Colby, and Mrs. Bernard (Minnie) Newman, Unity and two grandchildren. A sister preceded him in death.
