Gullickson, Ann (Marriage – 27 March 1937)

Mr. Milford Catlin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Pearl Catlin of Loyal, and Miss Ann Gullickson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Gullickson of Neillsville were united in marriage Saturday afternoon, March 27, at Sunset Point the home of Rev. and Mrs. G. W. Longenecker, the ceremony being performed by Rev. Longenecker.

They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Bardell of Neillsville, Mrs. Bardell being a sister of the bride.

The bride wore a blue dress with grey accessories and carried a bouquet of roses and sweet peas. Mrs. Bardell wore a black dress and also carried a bouquet of roses and sweet peas. The bridegroom wore a brown suit with a rose in the lapel of his coat.

After the ceremony a five o’clock supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents to about sixty guests. The rooms were decorated in blue and white. Mrs. Richard Beyer, Mrs. Ed Evenson and Mrs. Wm. Terman acted as waitresses at the supper.

Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Pearl Catlin, Mr. and Mrs. Haskell Catlin and family, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Catlin and family, all of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Catlin and daughter of Wisconsin Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Otto Catlin of Neillsville; Mrs. Clarence Imislund of Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Lewis of Lynn; Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Morley and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Holverson all of New Auburn; Mr. and Mrs. George Freezy and Esther Hagen, all of Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hutchins of Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Sigward Johnson and Sweren Johnson and son Harold from north of Loyal; Mrs. Will Catlin, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Catlin, Mrs. Lillie Drake and daughter Elaine, all of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Bardell of Neillsville. Many beautiful and useful gifts were bestowed.

In the evening a free wedding dance was given at the Moose hall, which was largely attended.

The groom is a young man who is highly spoken of by all who know him. He *[blurred words here] home near Loyal and for some time has been employed in a plant at Eau Claire.

The bride grew to womanhood here, graduated from Neillsville high school and has recently been employed in Eau Claire. The young coupe will make their home in that city.
