(Coles Corner Cor.)

There was a very pretty June wedding took place at the parsonage of Trinity Lutheran Church at Spencer by Rev. Stapel, pastor, Wednesday afternoon, June 13th, at 1:30 o’clock when William Krueger, son of Mrs. Henry Facklam (deceased) and Miss Minnie Quandt were united in marriage.

They were attended by Miss Irene Riske as maid of honor and Miss Bernice Vanderhoof as bridesmaid. The groom’s attendants were Robert Leisinger and Harry Krueger brother of the groom. The bride was attired in a white silk flat crepe dress floor length. She wore a wreath of orange blossoms on her head and carried a bride’s bouquet of roses.

The maid of honor, Miss Riske, wore a pea green flat crepe, with accessories to match, and a green head band. The bridesmaid, Miss Vanderhoof, had a light green voile dress with accessories to match. Both wore corsage bouquets to match the bride’s bouquet.

The groom was raised in this neighborhood and needs no introduction and is a young farmer.

The bride came to this community as housekeeper for her brother Rev. Aug. Quandt from Minnesota. He was formerly pastor of the Veefkind and Riplinger churches but now lives at Cicero, Wis.

The reception was held at their home a mile south of this corner to intimate friends and relatives where they went to housekeeping. Congratulations is the wish of their many friends in this corner.
