Surnames: Healy, Feuerhelm, Vischer, Johnson, Cook, Christie, Drake, Anderson, Groelle, Burton, Miller Source: Marathon Register Sept 12,1902 -----Healy, Hattie (Marriage - 10 Sept. 1902) Wedding Bells At the home of the bride’s parents in this village at 8 P.M. Wednesday Sept. 10,1902. Miss Hattie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Healy was united in marriage to Mr. George Feuerhelm, the Rev. E.G. Vischer officiating. The bride has resided here most of her life and is one of the most highly respected and popular young ladies of the community. Mr. Feuerhelm is one of our prominent young businessmen being a member of the firm of Johnson & Feuerhelm. He has been a resident here for the past five years and during that time his sterling qualities have won him a multitude of friends. They were attended by E.W. Schmitz of this place, Miss Maus Cook of Neenah, E.J. Healy of this place And Miss Lizzie Feuerhelm of Bridgewater, ND. A large concourse of relatives and friends were Present and after the ceremony which was performed In the beautifully decorated parlor, the company Repaired to the dining room where a sumptuous Wedding supper was served. Many useful and costly presents were received from their many friends. The happy couple left yesterday morning for a short wedding tour which will include a couple of days visit at the state fair. On their return they will take up their residence on the west side and will be at home after Oct 1st . Following are those from out of town who were in attendance: Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Healy and son of Neenah; Harry Cook of Alexandria,Indiana; Emma and Madge Christie of Neenah; Mrs. Issac Drake and Mrs. G Anderson of Eidsvold; Mr. F.F. Groelle of Stevens Point; Mrs. Jennie Burton of Auburndale; Rev E.G. Vischer and wife, and Myrtle Miller of Colby, and Mrs. Feuerhelm,son Al, and daughter Lizzie, of Bridgewater, SD. |
