-----Nichols, Angeline Marie (July 12, 1920 - June 26, 2006)

Angeline Marie Nichols, age 85, lifelong Gilman area resident, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2006 at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen, WI.

A Christian Burial Mass was held on Thursday, June 29, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Gilman, WI with Fr. John Long officiating. Burial followed in the Meadowbrook Cemetery, Gilman, WI. Friends and family called on Wednesday evening at the Gilman Funeral Home from 408 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 7:30 p.m.

Angeline was born July 12, 1920 in Cashton, WI, the daughter of Peter & Mabel (Sletten) Willger. She grew up in the Gilman area and attended area schools, graduating from the Gilman High School. She was then united in marriage to Alfred Melvin Nichols on June 21, 1941 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Gilman, WI. After their marriage they lived and farmed in the Town of Aurora, Gilman, WI.

Angeline loved farming, gardening, and canning. She also loved her children and their spouses and spending time with her grandchildren and visiting with other members of the family. She enjoyed going on rides and fishing with her husband Alfred. She is one that enjoyed life and everything around her.

She is survived by her husband, Alfred of Owen; her children: Roger (Ronnie) Nichols of Union Grove, WI, Gary (Patti) Nichols of Deer Park, WI, Bonnie (Paul) Johnson of Gilman, WI, Dale (Sue) Nichols of Owen, WI, and Keith (Judy) Nichols of Marshfield, WI; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one brother, Norbert (Rose) Willger of Racine, WI; and 2 sisters: Lorrine Thomas of clear Lake, IA and Esther Abramovicz of Thorp, WI.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Glenn Willger.
