(September 4, 1921 - July 27, 2006) Juanita V Bradshaw, age 84, of Willard went home to be with the Lord Thursday, July 27, 2006 at the Palliative Care Unit of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, where she had been a patient for one week. Juanita was born September 4, 1921 in Peoria, IL, to Claude and Vena Viola (Van Beber) Rayburn. She was educated at Tyng School in Peoria. Juanita married John Thomas Bradshaw on October 1, 1939. They resided in Peoria and Juanita was a homemaker. In 1956, they moved to a farm in the Town of Foster, Clark County, WI. In 1982, they moved to Kenosha. John Bradshaw died on June 18, 1988. In April of 2005 Juanita moved to Willard and resided with her daughter and son-in-law Patricia and John VonAsten. Juanita enjoyed crocheting and needlework. She also loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Juanita is survived by her three children, John (Carl) Bradshaw, of Shell Lake, WI; Patricia (John) VonAsten, of Willard; Carol Lee Bradshaw, of Neillsville; seven grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by one brother, Fred (Marion) Rayburn, of Neillsville; and one sister, Wanda Bennett, of Peoria. She was preceded in death by her husband; one brother, Ward; and one granddaughter, Sandy, in infancy. Funeral services were held Saturday July 29, at Buchanan Funeral Home. Pastor Alan Dunham officiated. Burial took place Monday July 31 at Oakwood Cemetery in Kenosha. Buchanan Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. |
