Surnames: JACKSON SORENSON JACOBY JACOBITZ LINDEMANN Source: Loyal TRG 16 Aug 2006 ----- Jackson, Lee M. (6 JUL 1919 – 11 AUG 2006) Lee M. Jackson, 87, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2006, at his home. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer. The Rev. Karl Rose and the Rev. Robert Olson officiated. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield. Pall bearers were Jamie Jacoby, Kevin Jacoby, Kevin Jacoby, Mitch Kacer, Eric Jensen and Len Zawisalan. Lee M. Jackson was born July 6, 1919, in Longwood, to Louis and Cecelia (nee Sorenson) Jackson. He attended Longwood, Owen, and Greenwood schools. He married Charlotte Jacoby on June 24, 1953. He worked for Trindal’s Feed Mill and Rollahome. They also farmed in the town of Sherman until 1984, when they moved to Spencer. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and served many offices in the church. He enjoyed playing sheepshead and cribbage with relatives and friends. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte, Spencer; one son, Randall Jackson, Wisconsin Rapids; one daughter, Amy (Dale) Jacobitz, Spencer; one granddaughter, Anna Beth (Eugene) Lindemann, Cudahy; and two brothers, Harold (Marion) Jackson, La Crescent, Minn., and Lawrence “Ozzie” Jackson, Greenwood. Preceding him in death were his parents; one son, Neil James Jackson; four brothers, Einar Jackson, Arnold Jackson, Norman Jackson, and Gordon Jackson; and one sister, Lillian Warner. Maurina/Community Funeral Home, Gilbert, is assisting the family with arrangements. |
