Mrs. Sine Nielsen, a former resident of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away Thursday, Jan. 17, 1933, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hans J. Stevens of Erwin, S.D., where she had made her home the past five years.

The remains were brought to Albert Lea, Minn., Thursday and the funeral was held Friday from the home of Mrs. Amelia Lundquist, with services at the Lutheran Church. The Rev. Bondo officiated.

Mrs. Nielsen was laid to rest in the Carlston Cemetery near Alden, Minn. By the side of her husband, Soren Nielsen, who preceded her in death 20 years ago.

The pallbearers were her grandsons: Henry Jalling, Thorp, Hilmer Nielsen, Alden, Minn., Carl Lundquist, Albert Lea, Minn., Woodrow Stevens, Erwin, S.D., Soren Nielsen Hansen, Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Vernon Green, Lake Preston, S.D.

Mrs. Sine Nielsen reached the ripe old age of 84 years, 5 months and 26 days. She was the mother of ten children, one son and nine daughters. She had 34 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Nine of her children are still living. They are: Christine Green, Lake Preston, S.D., Mattie Paulsen, Oak Park, Ill., Nelsena Jalling, Withee, Ove H. Nielsen, Alden, Minn., Anna Stevens, Erwin, S.D., Christine Andersen, McIntosh, Minn., Jennie Hansen, Cedar Falls, Iowa, Emma Hansen, Motley, Minn., and Amelia Lundquist, Albert Lea, Minn. One daughter, Marie Simonsen, Eustis, Florida, passed away 15 months ago.

Mrs. Nielsen was born in Denmark. She came to America with her husband and seven children, arriving in Lake Preston, S.D., Sept. 29, 1886. They moved to Withee in 1896, ten years later they moved to Alden, Minn., where they made their home till the death of Mr. Nielsen. Since then she had made her home with her children.
