May 5, 2004 -----Krupa, Louis (June 11, 1921 - April 27, 2004) Louis Krupa, age 82, of Gilman, died on Tuesday, April 27, 2004. Funeral services were held on Monday, May 3, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Plombon Funeral Chapel Stanley, WI, Father Robert Nelson officiated. Visitation was held on Monday, May 3 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. before the time of service. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Cameron, WI. Louis was born June 11, 1921 in Thorp, WI the son of Joseph and Julia Krupa. He grew up in the Eidsvold area and attended area school and then as a young man worked in the CCC Camps. He was united in marriage to Iolene Morarend on June 12, 1939 in Elkader, Iowa. They then lived and farmed in the Town of Aurora, rural Gilman, WI for over 65 years. He is survived by two daughters: Katherine J. (Robert) Poirier of Chetek, WI and Rita M. (Robert) Wood of Plant City, FL; four grandchildren: Kimberly Ann Dzimiela of Chetek, WI, Sandy Lynn Burrell of Seven Lakes, NC, Kenneth Shawn Wertz of Turtle Lake, WI and Ginger of Plant City, FL and six great-grandchildren: Jesse, Tanya, Zachary, Dustin, Maddie and Connor. He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers and sisters. Louis loved going to auctions and collecting. |
