Surnames: Damon, King, Juedes, Chellis ,Bock, Prehn Source: Marathon County Register Newspaper (Unity,Wis.) Oct 14,1904 County Candidates The following republican candidates for offices in Marathon county were in town Tuesday afternyon (afternoon): F. F. Damon for Sheriff, John King for clerk, R. H. Juedes for Treasurer, W. H. Chellis for Register of Deeds, A. A. Bock for Clerk of Court, and Fred Prehn for member of Assembly for the 1st district. All of these candidates are thorough republicans who have stood by the party through its successes and failures, they have by their untiring labor and influence taken Marathon county from the democratic list and placed it in the republican column where it will remain. Each of them is preminently qualified to fill the office to which he aspires, the voters of this county can do no better than to place them there with a good big majority. |
