Surnames: Jordon, Wagner, Heiser, Kingbird Source: Thorp Courier (Thorp, Clark County, WI.) December 15, 2004 ----Jordon, Ione M. (January 31, 1923 - December 11, 2004) Ione M. Jordon passed away December 11, 2004, at the age of 81. Ione was born on January 31, 1923 in Thorp, WI, the daughter of Michael & Theresa (Wagner) Heiser. She grew up in Thorp, attending area schools and graduating from Thorp High School. She later married Forrest Pat Jordon at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Thorp, WI. They lived and farmed in the Eidsvold area until 1967 when they moved to St. Paul, MN. After the death of her husband, she resided with her daughter and son in Minnesota. Ione is survived by one son, Clancey (Corrine) Jordon, and one daughter, Nadine (Hank) Kingbird, plus four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Pat, and three brothers: Matt, Romaine, and Cliff Heiser., Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Plombon Funeral Home in Stanley, WI. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2004, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Stanley, WI with Fr. Robert Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery, Stanley, WI. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
