Obit: Gombert, Albert (1866 – 1928)
Surnames: GOMBERT KAUFMAN Source: HUMBIRD ENTERPRISE (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.) 11/17/1928 --------- Gombert, Albert (17 JAN 1866 – 8 NOV 1928) The funerals of Mr. Albert Gombert of Fairchild (Eau Claire Co., Wis.), and his sister-in-law, Mrs. Jos. Kaufman of the town of Mentor (Clark Co., Wis.), were held at St. Joseph’s Church, Fairview, last Monday morning. M. Kretschmer was in charge and Rev. R.F. Raschke officiated. Both of the deceased were old residents of the Fairview community, Mr. Gombert having left his farm not many years ago on account of failing health. Both were natives of Germany, Mr. Gombert being born on Jan. 17, 1866, and Mrs. Kaufman Aug. 20, 1867. Their deaths occurred within an hour’s time on the evening of Nov. 8th, 1928. |
