Obit: Haas, Jacob (1845? - 1925)
Surnames: Haas, Zeitz, Wilson Source: HUMBIRD ENTERPRISE (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.) 01/03/1925 ----Haas, Jacob (1845? - Dec. 28, 1925) Jacob Haas for more than half a century a resident of Merrillan, died Dec. 28, in the Marshfield hospital, where he had been taken for treatment for injuries received in a fall three months ago. The deceased was a native of Germany, and came to this country when a young man. Sept. 3, 1871, he was married to Miss Louise Zeitz, who with four daughters and two sons survive him. He was a brother of George Haas, of Spring Valley, and an uncle of Mrs. H. E. Wilson of this village. Funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at Merrillan. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson attending. Deceased was nearly 80 years of age. |
