Obit: Frane, William (1884 – 1908)
Surnames: Frane, Schramm Source: Marathon County Register Newspaper (Unity, Wis.) July 10,1908 ----Frane, William (1884 - *4 July 1908)*Could be off. Last Saturday evening William Frane, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Frane, died at the home of his parents in the city of Colby. The deceased has been an invalid for the past three years being a sufferer from that dread disease consumption. He was born 24 years ago and was a resident of the town of Unity untl last spring when his parents rented their farm and moved to Colby. He has been treated by the best of medical experts during the past few years but to no avail. The deceased was held in the highest esteem by a large host of friends in the town of Unity and this village where a year ago he was engaged in the flour and feed business which he was compelled to give up on account of his health. The funeral was held from the Catholic church Tuesday forenoon, Rev. Father Schramm officiating. A large number from Unity were in attendance. * * * Additional Note: William and his parents, Joseph and Katrina Frane are all buried at St. Mary's Cemetery, Colby, Clark Co., WI. |
