Auction And Card Party Planned For Exchange Day

With fall definitely here, an inventory of objects about the farm and house is now in order. The things you find which may be of no use to you, may be exactly what someone else needs. Bring them to the general auction on Exchange Day, Saturday afternoon. Check in the items before 1:30 as bidding will start promptly at 2:00 o’clock, with Walter E. Cook as auctioneer. The money received for items sold is all the owner’s. No charge is made for this service.

The merchants have planned further for your gain, Saturday, as they have made every effort to obtain merchandise at the very lowest prices. Read the Exchange day sheet, which has been mailed to you.

In the evening you are invited to be guests of the Abbotsford Commercial Club as a free public card party at the armory, beginning at 8:30. There will be prizes for pinochle and sheeps-head as well as a door prize. For those who desire refreshments a committee form the Parent-Teachers association will be there to serve you or which a small fee will be charged.

Shop in Abbotsford, Saturday, and participate in the events planned for the day.
