History: The Abbotsford Tribune (October 26, 1944)
Surname: CLEMENT, JACKSON, KUENNER Source: Tribune - Phonograph, Vol. 46, No 43, p 5, Wednesday, October 25, 2006 (October 26, 1944) Fruit Specialist Will Be At Armory, November 2 At the request of farm people in Clark County, the country extension office is launching a small fruit program for Clark County. Conrad Keunner, fruit specialist of the University of Wisconsin, will be in Abbotsford at the armory, Nov. 2, at 1:30 p.m. to assist in working our a program. It is hoped that all people who are interested in any or all phases of fruit work will attend one of the above meeting. An example of what can be done was demonstrated this past year in the organization of a spray ring in Clark County, which proved very successful to its members. Small fruit for home use can be raised in Clark County successfully, and a good fruit program will bring desired results.
