Miss Marian Schoengarth returned Tuesday from a visit with friends at New Richmond.

Misses Daphne Beeckler, Mabel Williams and Rose Rosandich and Frederic Wright are attending the summer school at Stevens Point.

Misses Ora Davis and Ethyl Walker are attending summer school in Eau Claire. Miss Davis recently purchased a new car.

Betty Davis and her girl friend returned to their home in Stevens Point, after visiting from several days with her grandmother, Mrs. Mary Henze. Wednesday, Dorothy Schaeffer of Chetek came from a visit with Mrs. Henze, who is also her grandmother.

Miss Dorothy Schoengarth left Saturday for Appleton, where she spent the weekend with friends, and then continued on to Milwaukee, where she will attend the summer session at the State Teachers’ College in that city.

Mrs. John Trimberger and her grandson, Richard Hillert, spent Sunday at the Fred Fravert home in Greenwood.

Mrs. Henry Schuelke entertained members of the South Grant Sewing Club at her home Wednesday.

Mrs. Erhardt Witte was hostess to a large lawn party at the Charles Neinas home Thursday afternoon. The afternoon was spent sewing.

Mrs. Leroy Landgraf of Neillsville spent a week’s vacation here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Beaver.

Mr. and Mrs. Eldred Davis and family and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cross were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Truman Davis. In the afternoon Mrs. Arthur Hubing and two children came to call.

Mrs. Elizabeth Fuller and Mrs. Henry Pietenpol spent Monday with Mrs. John Breese. Mrs. Pietenpol is also spending several days with her daughter, Mrs. Vera Kidd, and family.

Mrs. John Landgraf, accompanied by Glen Landgraf of Neillsville, spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. George Beaver.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Goebel are living in the Bresemann house on the east side of the village.

Mrs. Pearl Washburn of Hawthorne spent several days here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Rose and her daughters Pearl and Bonnie Mae Washburn.

Misses Lorraine Garbisch and Mildred and Irene Bartz spent Saturday at Withee, where they attended the wedding of a friend.

Mr. and Mrs. Bert Quimby and children, Beverly Jean and Billy, returned to their home in Waupaca Monday, after a several days’ visit at the Clifton Paulson home and with friends near Christie.

Walter Garbisch of Chili visited for several days with Leland Dopp.

Mrs. James West of Neillsville, who was reported last week to be attending summer school with her sisters, the Misses Bartz, was unable to leave the hospital where she has been a patient for several weeks and where she will be confined for several days longer. Miss Gertrude Bartz is also staying at home with her mother, Mrs. Alfred Bartz, who is not very well.
