Surnames: Pierce, Mathews Source: Humbird Enterprise Newspaper (Humbird, Wis.) September 27,1930 Pierce, Clarence E. (4 June 1885 – 19 Sept. 1930) Clarence Pierce died about 5:00 o’clock last Friday afternoon at his home in this village, while helping his father. His death was caused by heart disease from which he had suffered for several years. Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon, Rev. V. D. Weidler officiating and burial was in the Mentor cemetery. Clarence E. Pierce was born at Humbird, June 4, 1885 and died Sept. 19, 1930, aged 45 years, 3 months and 15 days. He leaves to mourn his death his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Pierce; one sister, Mrs. Chas Mathews, of Beloit; and one brother, Henry. One brother, William, preceded him in death. |
