Surnames: Gerber, Aebersold, Trachsel, Theiler Source: HUMBIRD ENTERPRISE (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.) 10/31/1925 ----Aebersold, Emma M. (Marriage - Oct. 28, 1925) Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 28th, at two o'clock, at the Reformed parsonage in Neillsville, Rev. D. Grether pronounced the sacred lines that united in marriage Miss Emma M. Aebersold and Mr. Herman R. Gerber, both of this community. They were attended by Miss Emma Trachsel and Mr. Will Theiler. The bride was tastily gowned in blonde satin faced canton crepe, and carried a bouquet of pale carnations and ferns. The groom wore a suit of conventional grey. After the ceremony the bridal party partook of a dainty dinner prepared by the bride's mother, Mrs. Mary Aebersold. Later in the evening about 175 guests were entertained at a wedding dance given in the town hall. The happy young bride was the recipient of many beautiful wedding gifts. The bride is a well known young lady, and has gained a host of friends and esteem through her personality. The groom is a prosperous young farmer of this vicinity, respected and liked by all who know him. They left Friday with the groom's brother, Fred, and family for the latter's home near Madison, and will spend their honeymoon in that part of the state. After their return they will be at home to their friends on the groom's father's farm, which he has rented. May their lives be filled with the happiness that relatives and friends wish them. |
