White chrysanthemums banked the altar of St. Casimur’s church in Chicago for the wedding of Miss Emily Civik, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Prezporia, Chicago, and Adolf Mikottis, Chicago, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mikottis, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.). The nuptial high mass and double ring ceremony took palce at 9 a.m. on Oct. 30.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her stepfather, wore a gown of white lace and a long veil, both sesigned with trains, and carried a large bouquet of white chrysanthemums.

Attending as bridesmaids were Miss Martha Mikottis, sister of the bridegroom, Miss Irene Prezporia, sister of the bride, and Miss Gertrude Mike, cousin of the bride. All wore gowns of aqua blue with maroon accessories and rhinestone headbands. They carried bouquets of yellow chrysanthemums tied with maroon ribbons.

Miss Charlotte Juchnowski attended as maid of honor, wearing a gown of aqua blue with copen blue accessories and a tiara headdress of rhinestones and gardenias. She carried yellow chrysanthemums.

The bridegroom’s attendants were Walter Podroza, cousin of the bride, Joe Tomac, and Stanley Mikottis, brother of the bridegroom. Mr. Mikottis and his attendants wore tuxedos and boutonnieres of roses.

Following the ceremony a breakfast was served at the bride’s home. Later a reception and wedding supper for 200 guests were held at St. Mukulas Hall. Immediate relatives and friends attended.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Mikottis, Greenwood, were among the out of town guests, and wore corsages of yellow tea roses, as did the bride’s parents.

Mr. Mikottis and his bride will reside in Chicago, where both are employed.
