Gardenia white stain was worn by Miss Iris Elizabeth Braun, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward F. Braun, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), for her marriage to Joseph A. Phillips, Milwaukee, which took place at Salem Reformed Church, Greenwood, Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The Rev. E.G. Pfeiffer officiated at the ceremony.

The bride’s gown was designed on simple lines, with a train and long shirred sleeves. Her long veil of white net was trimmed with wide valenciennes lace and fell en train from a headdress of white calla lilies and small buds. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies.

Miss Almira Horn, Greenwood, as maid of honor, was gowned in pale rose colored moiré taffeta. She wore a pearl necklace and a white gardenia in her hair. Miss Ruth Miller, Wausau, and Miss Violet Horn, Greenwood, attended as bridesmaids, wearing aqua blue frocks of moiré taffeta. They also wore white gardenias in their hair and pearl necklaces. Talisman roses, blue sweet peas, and jonquils were combined in the bouquets carried by the bride’s attendants.

Clayton Braun, Greenwood, attended Mr. Phillips as best man. Melvin Alperstett and Edward Braun Jr. were groomsmen.

As the bridal party entered the church the “Bridal Chorus” from Lohengrin was played by Mrs. John Seibold, organist. A vocal solo, “O Perfect Love,” was sung by the Rev. Mr. Pfeiffer, who was accompanied by Mrs. Seibold.

Following the ceremony, 100 relatives and friends were entertained at a wedding dinner at the bride’s home. Blue, pink and white streamers decorated the residence for the occasion.

Among the out of town guests were Mrs. Theodore Knifke, Chicago; Mrs. R. Gehm, Miss Margaret Wildish, and Howard Neff, Milwaukee; Mrs. Ella Miller and Edgar Stanke, Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Leonhard, Gilman; Art Horn, Onaka, S.d; Miss Mayme Hanson, Antigo; Mrs. Raatz, Anna Raatz, Bernard Raatz, Ed Raatz, Frank Raatz, and Miss Alice Karnopp, all of Owen.

Mr. Phillips and his bride left on a few days’ wedding trip to St. Louis, Mo. After March 25 they will be at home to friends at 2325 North 50th St. in Milwaukee. The bridegroom is employed as assistant manager of the C.H. Robinson Co., Brokers, in Milwaukee.
