(8 MAY 1943) Miss Dede Ann Perman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Perman, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), was given in marriage by her father, to Lt. Robert C. Nerbun, Sioux City, Iowa, in a ceremony performed in St. Mary’s Catholic Church at Greenwood, Saturday, May 8, at 8:30 a.m., with the Rev. J.J. Novak officiating. Miss Margaret Perman, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, Miss Madelyn Jones and Miss Ruth Nelson bridesmaids, Victory Perman, brother of the bride, best man, and Jerome Cortney and John Cardinal ushered. All attendants were school friends of the young couple and attended Stout Institute at Menomonie with them. The bride, attired in a white satin gown and fingertip veil, and carrying calla lilies in her arms, was preceded down the church aisle by her sister, in a pink chiffon frock, and the bridesmaids in yellow and aqua. All wore matching headdresses and carried bouquets of pink carnations and white narcissus. Gerald Maas, nephew of the bride, in white, carried a white satin Philomaethean Sorority pillow to the altar where the bride kneeled on it. Covers were laid for 35 guests at the wedding breakfast served at the home of the bride’s parents and a one o’clock dinner at the home of the bride’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Maas. The bridal table was decorated in wild flowers and had a large wedding cake as the centerpiece. |
